Colorado Mammoth defenseman Jay Jalbert has been selected as the National Lacrosse League's Overall Player of the Week.

Minnesota Swarm forward Ryan Ward and San Jose Stealth forward Jeff Zywicki picked up the other awards for Week Twelve, the games of 17-18 March.

Jalbert, also named the Defensive Player of the Week, scored four goals and assisted on three others in Colorado's 15-11 victory at Arizona on Saturday. He also scooped up eleven loose balls.

Ward, the Offensive Player of the Week, tallied three goals, seven assists, and four loose balls as the Swarm rallied to defeat Portland, 14-12, Friday night.

Zywicki, meanwhile, was selected as Rookie of the Week after a three-goal, two-assist performance in the Stealth's 14-13 victory over Calgary. Zywicki also recovered twelve loose balls in that game.

This marks Jalbert's first-ever selection as Player of the Week; Ward and Zywicki were chosen for the third time each.
