The National Lacrosse League yesterday named Toronto Rock forward Colin Doyle as its Overall Player of the Week for Week Fifteen.

Portland LumberJax goaltender Dallas Eliuk and Philadelphia Wings forward Sean Greenhalgh were also honored for their play during the weekend of 7-9 April.

Doyle, who was additionally selected as the Offensive Player of the Week, scored five goals (including the game-winner in overtime) and tallied five assists as Toronto rallied past the Wings on Saturday, 15-14. Three of his goals and four assists came in the fourth quarter or overtime, during which the Rock erased a 14-8 deficit.

Eliuk, the Defensive Player of the Week, held the San Jose Stealth scoreless for the first 35 minutes Friday night, finishing with 39 saves on 45 shots as the LumberJax recorded a 9-6 victory.

Greenhalgh, chosen as the Rookie of the Week, tallied five goals (including one power play goal) and four assists in the Wings' loss at Toronto. Eight of his nine points came before halftime.

Doyle is a seven-time honoree, but is the Overall recipient for the first time in six years. Eliuk is being honored for the fifteenth time in his long career, Greenhalgh for the fifth.
