Philadelphia sweeps Baltimore to claim title
The Philadelphia Wings finished off one of the franchise's best seasons by winning the inaugural NLL Champions Cup on 28 April, with a 17-12 defeat of the Baltimore Thunder at Baltimore Arena. For the Wings, it was their fifth championship in twelve years of existence. Baltimore remains without a title since the league's first season.
